My friend Mark Rainery has been riding for arbor for a while now, mostly the annex for everything, but has time on the guch and one of their stiffer twins. He finally got a candle and is loving it. We grow up riding pretty normal boards like that, and he exclaimed at how weird all the uprise fender and sidecut stuff is that arbor does, now that he's back on some thing normal. Personal preference, of course. I was stoked to see Arbor coming out with candle, specifically for his needs, and it's playing out as expected. Board looks sweet, too.
Check out my new...

Re: Check out my new...
As a fan of normal camber boards and plain graphics I was excited about it but the price put me off. Seems like a pretty standard construction made at SWS so I don't see why its so expensive.Spenser wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 2:12 pmMy friend Mark Rainery has been riding for arbor for a while now, mostly the annex for everything, but has time on the guch and one of their stiffer twins. Been waiting for this one since making a deal on the Snowboard Trader group, ostensibly it's not for me but damn straight I'm going to ride it to see if I want one myself.
Yes it's made in Poland.
Sidenote, *please* don't ship with UPS if you're selling something to a Canadian from the US. Their brokerage fees are outrageous and internally they basically have no idea WTF is going on when somebody self clears the shipment. UPS wanted $105.66 total, I told them I'd self clear, got the required paperwork from them (after 3 phone calls), paid $18.47 at the CBSA office, provided UPS with the proof, proceeded to wait 1.5 weeks for them to finally deliver it. All the while them still insisting I owed them the $105.66, up until the driver came and I showed him my completed payment form from the CBSA. Their right hand absolutely does not know what their left hand is doing. Ok rant over, I'm half considering taking this to Japan when I fly out tomorrow despite never having ridden one, hell I haven't even been out riding yet this season

Re: Check out my new...
New bindings arrived today. They will go on a new deck I ordered.
Really looking forward to trying these after several years riding union mini disc bindings almost exclusively.
The new deck is a Salomon Taka EP 164. Equally exited for it to arrive

Sounds good. Getting chargers for my split made me curious about more rigid bindings.Blessed420 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 12:59 ambought black ones when i was in the alps and for my surprise i really like them, they are not too stiff laterally and the canted beds were awesome.Gammalteknologi wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 11:56 am New bindings arrived today. I think the first union binding to have the minidisk was the Contact Pro
