Banker is quite as pow-centric as old Charles was.
Baker is def tempting...i imagine those 3 boards ride relatively similar or let's say all perform good on groomers, fresh snow

Mountain is awesome and i don't really need or want another daily driver

And there's also Squash...Spenser made a great review few years ago, still haven't tried it yet

Getting all 4 is the most reasonable solution i believe..
Banker definitely has a little more drive to it than the MTN, little more torsional stiffness. never rode the Fusion to compare, but I got the impression that one was a little more freestylie.
Yep Banker is the stiffest of the three, charger, Fusion softer...need both so i can never decide in the morning which one to ride

I had a fusion for a little bit, and it felt like a pretty normal/traditional board. I had to set it back a fair bit to get it to feel the way I wanted, and it just never clicked. I imagine I wouldn't feel that with the mountain or banker, granted having never ridden either.

I am on a two board quiver right now:

Capita Megadeath 157Wide for everyday business (just a superb Do-It-All Board) and the GNU Gremlin Airblaster special Edition 155 for surfy and icy days ;)

I just love them! Phantom Carvers are really awesome Bindings, they are not super stiff, as you might think, they are in fact really freestyle friendly!

And to be fair, I rode and tested nearly everything on the market... for ME the Nitro Team Pro and the Phantom Carvers fit all the boxes, superb Straps, canted pads, super comfy, reactive and they fit perfectly to my Nidecker Boots.

If I had to choose between those two, I would personally pick the Team Pro, I like them just a little more =)

I'm feeling the sticker placement and how it mirrors the capita design elements. Well geil.

I went into the season with 9 boards planning to sell at least 2... and instead I ended up adding 2 lmao. This roster is comically excessive for someone who's ridden 3 days so far this season and likely won't clear 10... and who's basically only ridden the Aeronaut, with 2 quick test laps on the Free Thinker.

Top pic is the "core" quiver, boards I plan to keep:
  • Moss Swallow 62
  • Capita Aeronaut 161
  • K2 Instrument 163
  • Burton Hometown Hero Split 162
  • Dupraz D1 6+ (178)
Bottom pic is mix of stuff I plan to sell, haven't made up my mind about keeping, or is on the sacrificial lamb rock board roster:
  • Salomon 6 Piece 155
  • Santa Cruz Decal 3 160
  • Burton Free Thinker 160W
  • Rome Blur 162
  • Weston Backwoods 163 Split
  • Burton Custom 170W

Plan going into the season was to sell the 6 Piece and Decal, and no new boards. But the Decal's been listed for a couple months with no takers (might have better luck with better snow), I was too lazy to list the 6 Piece with the Decal not moving, and then I picked up the FT + Custom stupid cheap. The Backwoods I'm keeping in reserve in case I hate the Hometown Hero.

Season hasn't been that great, but as far as weekend wars go, I'm well past earning the season passes. Sunny overnight crust today, best day so far on the Noserider. Getting close to hiking/slush season.

Did an inventory check, gave away a few and threw away a few. These are the ones still in use, not counting relics, but that's debatable.

Status after cleanup, not quiver, I might do one later;

Burton: 12 or 13? lost count
Moss: 3
Korua: 2
Lib: 2
Homemade: 2
Furberg, Telos, Rossi, Rome, Flow, Äsmo, Hovland, Grassroots, Pathron, Ambition, Gnu, Lamar: 1

So yeah, nice to meet you, I'm an addict too.
