Base not flat
Base not flat
I have a Capita Pathfinder reg camber and was going to wax it this weekend, when I laid it on my clamps the board was teetering from edge to edge. I got a level out and placed it on the base, it is definitely not flat. I checked some of the other boards I have and none have this amount of lift on the edges. My question is does this look like manufacturing defect?

Re: Base not flat
Seems questionable to me. I'd be returning it.Oldhead wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 6:25 am I have a Capita Pathfinder reg camber and was going to wax it this weekend, when I laid it on my clamps the board was teetering from edge to edge. Here is capita's reply.
"Thanks for reaching out. That does look funky. What you are seeing should not compromise the performance and durability of the board at all, but we are happy to take a look at this board."
This seems like they are setting me up for a let down. How do they think this would not compromise performance?
