I have the same rig and love it (I also have the solid). I'd like a little more response out of the bindings, but I moved away from Spark/Hitchhiker because even though I think those have a much better interface, I don't like the feel of the metal railroad-track like baseplate under foot, and that was even with the padding kit added.

Enjoy it!

speaking of magnetraction, I recently saw a rossignol XV from few years ago: the magnetraction was really noticeable, the edges were super wavy.
Definitely not a subtle thing.
I think the newer mervin boards are more subtle, speaking of magnetraction

From what I understand those earlier Rossi XVs had the maggiest of magnetraction on any board ever. Which is terrifying.

I am also interested in experiences on the Chargers. But what's going on with the straps in the picture?

put a strap the wrong way when adjusting the heelcup.
not as dangerous as puttimg a skateboard truck the wrong way 🤣

The chargers feels way way more like a normal binding than the sparks i had 12 years ago. riding with them made me curious about non minidisc unions.
Seriously considering getting a pair of new forces or atlas

I ride very soft boots and like how my stratas and Ultras feels like my heel is locked in when cranked and really loose if i don't.
And the baseplate flex gives me enough freedom of movement no matter how hard i crank the straps.

Years back when i had stiffer boots I didmt like how cemented in it felt with atlas or force.

I did this once when I was about 9 years old. Didn't really know there was a right way. Went skating with some friends and My board just didn't work and I felt like I was insane because I suddenly couldn't seem to skate. Good times.
