Re: United Shapes
oof, middle of the board probably wouldn't be as catastrophic as the nose if it were to fold, but I'd probably opt for an early wall retirement for that one.
edit: wouldn't

Yea, that's my feeling too. I'd PROBABLY be ok, but situation could go back real quick if it blows out wrong place and wrong time. And even if it doesn't blow out catastrophically, I'd constantly think about it and ride timid.coleslawed wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 12:15 pm oof, middle of the board probably would be as catastrophic as the nose if it were to fold, but I'd probably opt for an early wall retirement for that one.
Think I'll just retire and work on it for tuning and repairs practice. I have some core shots I need to clean up and the edges are fucked haha.

Mounted bindings and carpet surfed on the Horizon... it's really soft.

I'm 76kg and 184cm. I know everyone says sizing is only about weight but I refuse to accept that height is not a factor too. Leverage exists. I'll probably go for the 159 if you find it soft

Re: United Shapes
my Horizon is the original shape (mini swallow), but it is def one of the softest boards in my quiver, and my go-to regular season mess around board.
