Lol you validated my decision to not buy a Super 8. That board caught my eye for years, but I had a sneaking suspicion it was too soft for my tastes.

When the Instrument came out, I jumped on it. Similar wide, arguably semi-volume displacement but rideable in normal sizing, seemed a tiny bit stiffer. Haven't ridden the Passport but the K2 "7/10" rating is pretty bang on for me as a daily.

It definitely hit the sweet spot for me! I'm guessing sizing had something to do with it as well, because the Super 8 @ 157/260ww is naturally gonna be more playful at my specs than the Passport @ 159w/266ww.

I bet you'd like the Pro version, but I also bet it'd be a lot of overlap with the Instrument. Either way, I'm happy to be out here gear testing for the lounge haha.
