I have had B boards for too many years... I even have a collection of catalogs that they sent me home... it was great... sometimes i like to see them…

I remember the legendary and cool customs and supermodels graphics.

I don't know what you (EL riders) “think” but now I have the feeling that B is lately more interested in the marketing of “ride on jake” (please with all the respect to jake and everything he did), “ride together” and the “environmental way ” that in the marketing or process of epic boards…


I like the base of the FT but the feeling is that past times were better

Alekesam seems interesting to me but perhaps it remind me the con artist with different shape in the tail… i don’t know…

I remember Selema Masekela talking about making music under the name Alekesam, which is Masekela backwards. It would make sense that he had some say in that family tree board.

@paidingum hmm iirc, blossom is more neils crayon stuff. I actually liked last year’s blossom with the tree on the base. Custom/X pretty whatever, regular has a black topsheet with some colored circles down the inserts, base is mostly white with a nose corner burton logo and 3 dots near the tail. X has black topsheet and a sunset-ish graphic and a pyramid? Base is sunsettish gradient with Burton across the base

I don't understand the Double Take hate. I run them and have never had a single issue once with them.

Obviously they do something wrong/bad for someone? What is it?

The toe buckle freezes up in spring time around the freezing point. Doesn’t happen often enough for me that I care, a few times a year maybe, and it doesn’t take forever to clear it out, but can be annoying sometimes.

My buddy's DT ankle straps used to freeze on him so I always avoided them but after no issues on my Hitchhikers I now have 3 out of 7 sets of bindings running DT since I realized that I prefer the Genesis hammock straps over the Cartel versions (the leather Malavitas are the real MVPs though).
