couldn’t figure out how to like that post, so thanks! that helps

decent deal on last seasons version now in canada. but honestly not that much cheaper on sale than getting a custom prior MFR, and all for something that is full of tech that i probably don’t need

Anyone been on a psychocandy thoughts on it? Sold my dancehaul to a good buddy of mine and totally regret it now. My local shop is having a demo day early December but I will be out of town for work unfortunately.
Psychocandy peaks a some interest for riding around with my kids.

i enjoy the Psychocandy more than the WarPig, less than the Dancehaul. just missing the pop of camber that the Dancehaul has. PeaceSeeker might be the better contender for a replacement there.

Peace>Psycho>Pig>Super for my “thrash collection” preferences as Ride calls them (I don’t really count the MTN as it’s just a different nose on the old AlterEgo, and I think the PeaceSeeker is actually part of whatever they call Blauvelt’s collection).
midwest is best

Thanks for the feedback will have to take a closer look at the peaceseeker never really thought of that one as being similar, then again never looked to much into it. I did demo the warpig before I bought my dancehaul and found it to be blah.

Not sure how the newer party platter would be now that it has camber as I test rode the older version when it was flat camber or reverse when it first came out can’t recall.
But def going to take a closer look at the seeker.

Could always buy another dancehaul it was that good haha.

Would you mind sharing where you found the 20% coupon on localsale? It's not obvious to me on the site. Thanks!

It was just for the weekend - they usually post any codes on their IG stories. Might be worth hitting them up in the chat and asking nicely ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got the Passport out today. This thing carves ferrrrr sure, I was having a ton of fun laying it over. Really damp and plowed through all the early season crusty shit snow like it was nothing. My gripe is that in the context of a daily, I just couldn't butter the thing and it was generally too stiff to fuck around on/hit smaller side hits/get slashy/etc. I think the 159w is too much board for me, but I can't go to the 157 because it's too narrow for my 11s. If the 157 had like a 260 waist it'd be perfect. I also think I just like mid-flexing boards as I get older, go slower, and fuck around more these days. Still sick, though, and I totally get the hype for this board.

Instrument 57 worth a look. Same Landscape collection, same board engineer, bang on 260 mm waist. I chatted with Justin Clark on IG about it and his TL;Dr was similar, Passport has more aggressive sidecut and is narrower.

Nice, yeah I've glanced at the Instrument but might need to give it a second look now. I'm realizing that a K2 7/10 is like a Capita 9/10 haha. The nose-to-tail carbon stringers in the Passport probably have something to do with it as well.
