I have @Shredder 's old one still, its an easy riding board thats good at just about everything. Could use a bit more oomph in the tail.iliveatblkdmnd wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2023 1:16 pm Has anyone ridden the Burton Hometown Hero? Curious for thoughts from y’all

Re: Hardgoods 24/25
Burton weirdly makes each equivalent size of the HTH 2 cm bigger for the split version, e.g. the solid comes in 156 and 160, the split in 158 and 162. A solid 162 would be a lot of fun to play around with, although sidecut's little tighter than I'd want for a daily driver.coleslawed wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2023 1:33 pm reallllly wish [HTH] came in a standard width 162 or so, Cartographer may be able to fill that hole, though.
I have a 162 split I haven't put to snow yet that looks and feels fun. Soft between the feet, pretty hearty in nose and tail. Lots of camber underfoot (although the solid seemed to have bit less camber). Looking forward to trying it, although I wish they had about a 165 with a standard-ish waist... no one seems to build a split in the 164-165 range without sasquatch waists.

Big fan of the HTH as a single board quiver...especially if you are more into freestyle riding.

Good to hear @Repo! I really enjoyed it the short time I had it. Fun board for sure.Repo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 9:42 amI have @Shredder 's old one still, its an easy riding board thats good at just about everything. He did. And he indeed did not return it in time, resulting in all kinds of hassle.
But he did not copy it (or have it copied) for the Hovercraft - the prototypes for that already existed well before.
Re: Hardgoods 24/25
Probably time to get some 24/25 graphic leaks on here then ....
