@c.fuzzy parker actually found the messier for me..I think the story was that bozung sold a bunch for the grand sum of $400 to a pawn shop or something. think parker found it on FB marketplace back in the day and it was $75 or something stupid.

I ended up paying $450 for the Keegan I think, still in plastic when I got it though. rides like absolute dogshit

Ah. I recall years back Boz had blasted through all his Neff money and selling his old video part boards on ebay. I was tempted, but I didn't have the same youthful hero worship for him that other do and thought someone else would enjoy them more than me. Cool pieces though.

I did appreciate his Bombhole episode and it gave me more respect for him as a person though.

I bought the Buteo with the idea it could replace my Pencil and Bullet Train, but I find it very hard to get rid of the Koruas. The Pencil is such a fun resort groomer/powder board. The sidecut is super fun and the looseness of the tail makes it fun to play around with in the side pist or up on banks.

Yep, share this same sentiment about my Pencil, too. Briefly parted with mine after selling to a friend in the crew who fell in love after riding it. But found myself missing it, so bought it again not too long after (shouts to my local shop who helped me with a solid deal, cos it was the last one they had in shop at the time and had a slight scratch on the base from shipping. So at least it didn't hurt as much buying it again lol).

But yeah, still my fave from their line to date and will be a mainstay in my quiver, along with my 57 Amplid SG. My two untouchables right now. Only board looking to possibly add this winter is the 57 K2 Passport, but that's about it I think.

Last family photo before hibernation. Got a kid due in November, and quiver will likely largely go into hibernation for the next few years. Bases are milky from storage wax.

This'll eventually settle into a 4-5 board rotation. The Stealth I'll likely sell early this season, I'll probably leave the Blur at my parents' place so I have something to ride out there without carting a board down there every winter. TBD on the others.

2019 Hovland Ram (center bottom)
Got this on trade from Parker. Super fun, makes the bunny hill feel big. I've been skating a lot this off-season and think I'll be much more adept next time I jump on this. Once the kid's old enough for the sled hill, I can probably sneak some laps on this.

2019 Salomon Six Piece 155
I bought this literally last week for $50. No idea how it'll ride. Bought it because I want a fuck-around board when baby is old enough to for the resort. Pretty short for me but has a fair bit of EE (1200 mm), so hoping it's alright even when we graduate past bunny slopes.

2020 Korua Transition Finder Plus 157
Got this on trade for my US Orbit, which was just too gnarly for all day riding at my current level of fitness. It's fun, but too small for me to really open up throttle on comfortably. Light. Great board to pair with Drift boards.

2017 Rome Blur / Anthem 162
Rock board, all-mountain freestyle deck. I sold this a couple years ago, but missed it so traded for it back. Super fun shape, tons of edge, pretty mellow flex so I can press the crap out of it. One complaint, it decambered pretty quickly. I noted a few years ago that it seemed to have less camber than I'd expect-- listed at 8 mm camber height, I eyeball measured more like 4. It's basically flat now, I can juuuuust slip a piece of paper under the middle of it, but feel no loading when I step on the middle.

2017 Moss Swallow 162
Go-to pow deck and change of pace carving board. I used this a lot less last season since I was a bit more focused on park. Sucker put a big smile on my face at Baldface, though.

2021 Weston Backwoods Split 163
Splitboard. This is a second, still in plastic. I had a credit from Weston for a warranty and pulled the trigger on a summer closeout. I have a used one I'll sell. Only reason I upgraded was because I had the credit, and the newer model doesn't have hardware exposed on the base. This is a Blem board, but I haven't found the blemish other than a big "BLEM" they branded next to the serial number. I like this board, don't love it, but don't split enough to super optimize this setup-- plus I can't find the board I have in my head: similar shape, S-camber, 7/10 flex, 165-ish length, 260-ish waist width, 8-ish sidecut radius, similarly burly and snow-resistant topsheet as Weston.

2020 K2 Instrument 163
Daily driver. Ripper board, can ride it well in damn near anything other than bulletproof ice (do-able but not ideal with a wide waist). Supposedly meant to size down, but I preferred the specs on the bigger board. Wish it was a taaaad narrower (maybe 262 mm instead of 266) and maybe a little bit more open on sidecut radius (8.18 m to 8.3-8.4). But generally this is my template for daily drivers going forward.

2020 Korua Stealth 163
Former daily driver. Love the way this board turns, great in pow too. The only reason I swapped off it is because it rough to ride switch. Has basically no tail kick, and the notched tail provides basically zero deflection. That huge nose also can get hung up on 180s. Probably selling this one ahead of the season.

2018 Dupraz D1 6+ (178)
Big gun, pow board when I'm expecting bigger open terrain. Ideal Mammoth board or for big drops. Most comfortable I feel at high speeds, my only boards I really feel comfortable driving into the sidecut at 40+ mph. Can get interesting in tight spaces. I had an interesting experience riding it at Snowbird, I tried to heelside into a little mini-chute, but got hung up on an entrance that was not big enough for a 5'10" board. Ended up just committing and having a spicy drop-in entrance.
