I traded my US Orbit for a TF Plus 157. Fun board, but I'm a touch too big for it at 210 lbs. Fun in the park and mellow cruising, super light. I think I prefer trad construction overall (dampness, bit more momentum for the extra weight), but I have fun throwing it around

If Korua made a TF 160, I'd own one as my daily driver.
is the issue the size or the construction?

also you're back! was starting to look like this would be the only internet snowboarding forum you weren't gonna be on
Haha I tried to sign up several times but registration process was broken. Was fixed this AM.

Shape more than construction, but bit of both. Just not enough edge. I almost think at my weight I prefer a bit more heft to my boards.

once your kid starting riding you're going to need a separate family day quiver...

Already ahead of you haha. I traded for Parker's Hovland snowskate specifically so I had something chill for teaching toddlers haha. I also picked up a 155 Salomon Six Piece jib board for $50, and may invest in Step Ons or Nidecker Supermatics.

Thanks for the rec. That'd be a fun one. Ridden quite a few Mosses, but still a few things I want to demo. That, the Fluffy, the Jellyfish are top of the list.

Any experiences with the Pin Tonic here yet?
On paper it looks like a pin-tailed Pencil (which is not bad!)
