I thought the same, it seems a supernova with little tweaks here and there, very similar specs, with little bit of taper

and ugly
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
doesn't seem wider from the video talk.
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
I kinda like the graphics. Reminds me of Tom Tom Club/Basquiat era NYC.
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
I like the graphics too, partly because its mostly white. His painting output is all more or less a Basquiat knock-off. Not necessarily a bad thing but seems to be an long-running trend with snow/skate pros turned artists. I was also surprised and slightly disappointed to see the nose be so steep. I had all but decided it would be my next board. The Nitro Alternator looks like a similar board but with much more gradual kicks.
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
What's funny about the cap supernova, is that it was one of the boards I considered buying when I was getting back into riding after a 20-year hiatus a few years back. Looks like I can get it way cheaper than $650

88 Gear has probably the last new one left (if 159 is your size) for like $385 with a coupon.
