yeah, guess we threw all cares out the window with Burton today.

pro tip for folks browsing, if size sor alternate color options aren’t showing under an item on the search page, it’s probably out of stock. no one is actively updating stock on the site anymore, so listings will stay active even when there is no more stock.
the actual item’s page will say Out of Stock, but you’ll still see it in searches.
midwest is best

There is some swash pants for about $265 after discount but not sure if it’s worth pulling the trigger on as I have two pants of spyder’s dare that still have a lot of life in them… but again we won’t see prices like this for a long time to come

Okay guys you need to hide my credit card for me, I went a little overboard and bought my wife some nice burton boots and Alexa X bindings since she’s a beginner and we typically rent her gear. The price I paid for the bindings and boots together was under $250 so it was a steal in comparison to what we pay for rentals every year.. now to find her a board during the off season… yikes… I’m ready to cry when I go to pay my credit card later today

I'm publicly saying, I should have taken a different approach Monday in my reaction to @eleveneightnate comments.

Everyone could get heated about a topic they’re passionate about. It seems it is water under the bridge now

I am going to miss Matt’s product videos on the house. He always had the most detail oriented product videos from gloves to boots to boards to base layers. All around they were always pleasant to watch and I always picked them over other videos

Lol not wearing Spyder alone is worth buying the Swash. I'll support ice-axe-y historically ski-centric brands like Arc'teryx, but I draw the line at Spyder.

When I worked at Breck as a liftie the uniforms were Spyder. The pants velcro’d all the way down the outseam and they were the worst piece of outerwear I’ve ever experienced haha.

I truly appreciate the feedback
What’s so bad about spyder?
I’ve always used their dare pants since they have suspenders but I guess my next pair will not be spyder nor will I support the brand anymore, but could you guys explain why? It would be greatly appreciated
As for pants with suspenders.. any suggestions? Unfortunately the swash don’t have suspenders and the burton bibs seem a little extreme with how far they ride up
Thank you
