Is it possible or doable to fit a different liner in some Burton?
What I don't like a lot is the lace to tighten the liner, I have to pull really hard to have it really tight on mi foot, at the point that sometimes I'm fearless to broke it......so my guess is if there's some other kind of liner that has a different sistem to lock the lace, and also if it works in different kind of boots, if not I will think about making it.😅

Used both Salomon and Intuition wrap liners in Burtons here, they have a harness that works with it, not all brands do though.

They are some of the most comfy boots I’ve tried, and good to walk around in. Hard to find boots that are too soft for the slopes. Might need to go up half a size from some other brands.

I would argue you need to size down 1/2 for K2’s, they pack out real fast and real big.

maybe I just need to try a pair with a standard internal harness (tried T1’s & Darko’s with the Conda, and older Taro’s with none) to get my heal better locked down.

soft flex with premium construction materials is my preferred boot.
midwest is best

I had Darko and TT in the same size, the Darko had plenty of room, but the TT was too small.

One for the Adidas wearers: is the lack of any forward lean ever a problem? I'm thinking to try and make these Tacticals work but I like some forward lean on my rear highback. Do you remove some lean as the boot is already in contact with the highback or just jam it in there and use the ankle strap to pull it all together?

I like that my boots doesen't have forward lean. I don't use it on highbacks and sometimes I even ride without highbacks so..

I have those boots but I wear my Adidas Tacticals more. The TTs are really comfortable though, the footprint is noticeably larger than my Adidas or Burton boots. Ive worn the TTs on ice and hardpack and they work well enough. Do you like steering with your ankles, then they are great. Do you want something with a lot of response?, then go for something stiffer. If it's a huge powder day, I'll wear the TTs for sure, but I rarely get that.

haven't had a problem with forward lean, I have the tactical and lexicons and the articulated cuff has enough movement if you really crank the forward lean on your bindings.
