What do you mean re: disks?
Ya on my B bindings I rode some forward lean on the front highback but after the first run I got rid of it on the NOWs and it felt great. the highback rotation is a minor complaint and something that isn’t really bothersome and I am sure I will get used to. Really dig these.

Re the disks I will use a flashlight as mentioned and I’m prob just not seeing the markings on the disk and binding bc I put them on where it wasn’t super bright.

Spenser convinced me last year to get some Drives. TBH I never got a chance to ride them. My friend needed bindings last minute for a trip and had been looking at NOW so they are still with him. I did do a thing this last week though. Snagged up some 19 Pilots and have been changing things here and there in between working and school. I'd like to try these out locally, but after my 12 hour night shifts at the hospital I sleep away the day. Anyways here's whats upgraded: O-drive hb, hyperfuse 2 ankles; coming in the mail: jones aux toe strap. I do have a full set of burton dt ankle and toes I can slap on these. I have a trip coming up in March where I'll bring these to get a better idea as well as a new board (reaper wolf).

Random comment about NOW Hanger 3.0 sizing: I've said a few times in the past year my Adidas Tactical US 10s are centered up in a medium-- apparently not true.

I rode my now Jones Mercury on a "narrower" (for me) width board the other day (254 mm on the Santa Cruz Decal 3) and I could feel I was a little toe heavy trying to pop off stuff at the tow rope park. I played around with the setup afterwards and need to slightly bias towards the heels like 4-5 mm.

I feel more or less centered on my 266 mm waisted Instrument or a 269 mm Korua, but on a narrower platform that small offset made a bigger difference. I'll still probably use the slider tracks on discs length-wise on 260+ mm waists, but will need to rotate them 90 degrees on narrower boards and give up the stance options (or switch to adjustable heelcup bindings).

I love this thread, but probably because it's so Now heavy...

So I know it's been mentioned before here (and I tried searching for it) about the old swapping out the straps for B straps. I've got a couple pairs of reflex cartels (the year before they got softer or changed the high backs, I forget which) and a pair of EST Genesis from about 2016.

My question is: I want to get rid of two of the pairs and keep one for spare straps for my drives/o-drives. Which straps from either the reflex cartel or the Genesis should I keep?

The Genesis straps are what I would keep, softer but somehow more supportive where the Cartel straps are typically stiffer due to that single strap on the hammock. The double take buckles can be less reliable though (sometimes they ice up)

I just got new set of Malavita hibacks for my Cartels and need to steal a pair of Genesis straps from my buddy for them.

I never rode the new cartel straps, but if my memory is correct I didn't like the feel of the material. It felt cheaper/more "plasticy". I thought the genesis straps (own & rode these) material felt more premium & have never created a pressure point with any boots I've owned.

You guys have any methods to consistently center your boots? I use a pair of digital calipers with a piece of wood...kinda OCD.

P.S. I can't eyeball very well or consistently when centering and I'll be 1/2 in off.

Holy shit... I'm pretty ghetto, I wear 10s, so I just slide my discs all the way back, no matter the deck and roll that way. As far as straps, that I put on my NOWs, I just order whatever Burton has on their site that is double take and go with that. Only thing that I do specifically do is to down size one size on my NOWs. So Sm Burton straps on Med NOWs for the ankle, and toes I keep the same.

I'm between sizes depending on boot brand. I can't go off sight when centering on bindings; I'm horrible at it tbh. Don't get me wrong I'm not going down to fractions of mm. Just getting toe and heel hang to be within a relative +-.

Hahaha wow even as an overthinky nerd, calipers is pretty next level. I pretty much go by eyeball and feel. When in doubt I bias towards the heel.

I can't eyeball for the life of me. TBH I thought I was pretty close, but I was way off. Over 1/2" toe hang. I admit once I get things relatively good enough I'll put down small reference dots with a sharpie. Not sure what to do with the matte finish boards though....
