Hahaha that’s totally fair man. I honestly went in super skeptical and was expecting to sell them to you after today, but they really surprised me!

eleveneightnate wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 4:28 pm The drama continues... WP got a foot of fresh, so I decided to set up the NOWs on my SB Powder Racer for tomorrow. The bolts are just too short for my Capita boards, which have been known to have deeper recessed inserts than other boards. I took the bindings themselves entirely out of the equation to make sure it wasn't the bushings, so it was just the mounting posts and discs. I can't get half of the bolts started, even doing the washerless method to start, and the ones that do bite only get a 1/2 to 3/4 turn in which doesn't leave me feeling confident.

I even tried my Strata bolts, same deal. Anyone know who makes the longest mounting hardware? Burton says theirs are 16mm, so those might be the call.
how is WP's coverage now? debating there or basin on saturday (might just go skin for fitness reasons at basin and take a few laps before heading back down to denvah)

i actually didn't mind the drive straps on the older versions (think this is like a '17/'18 Drive i'm referring to). curious how the new ones are which i will give a shot next week before ordering burton straps for the drives.
The Drive strap is basically the same AFAIK. Super rigid "FlipIt" strap. I can't stand that strap, but a few buddies have told me they prefer that complete lack of flex.
I have the 2015 NOW Select with the Hyperfuse Strap which is pretty rigid. I quite liked them because you don't have to tighten the straps much on NOW. I might try them out on my 2023 Jones Mercury.

FC heelcup & ankle strap swap. Performance difference is negligible, but whatever. My kids have Lego and I’ve got bindings.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber

Happy new year to everybody!🙂

Do you guys know if and what is the difference in man and woman bindings? If there's any, I know that most of the woman boards are kind of softer or "easy" vs same kind of man's board, is it the same with bindings?

Lower/ often softer high back and generally narrower base tray. Sometimes (not always) the tray is also softer to accommodate presumably lighter weight riders

Hey, I couldn't get the burton toe ladders and "connectors" to fit into their slots. Did you have to mod anything there?
You had EST version. Re-Flex is the version that fits
Nerp, Re-Flex Genesis. The doubletake ladder doesn't fit. Can't even get it to poke out the top, too thick.

Had the same issue but you have to "pop out" the stopper on the ladder and then put the ladder in from the top. Thanks again @kimchi for point that out.

Now THAT is valuable intel! Thank @unsuspected and @kimchi !

Feels like the first "Page" in the EZLibrary will need to be "how to mod NOW bindings" 😅
