This is hilariously true, and also not an infrequent kit of mine. Sasquatch bibs and anorak with a merino ninja. Definitely a couple of close calls, but knock on wood no absolute disasters to speak of.SJF_NH wrote: Thu May 15, 2025 3:20 pmThis is pretty much daring the Universe to give you a case of unpredictable explosive diarrhea...ad1105 wrote: Thu May 15, 2025 1:33 pm If I were to gear up in an Airblaster Ninja suit, bibs and an anorak, there will be a 100% chance of shitting being an embarrassing disaster.

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
It's not like I often have to desperately shit while riding, but as SJF said, the universe has its ways of knowing when I'm playing with fire. That evil trifecta would be too much of an invitation.
The tempting of fate would be less attributed to the anorak and moreso to the ninja suit. I'm most comfortable with maximum mobility on the throne and that stupid butt zip never aligns with my torso/inseam ratio. I had one day at Stowe nearly ruined because I forgot my usual base layer and @g3greg lent me a ninja suit to use. Never again.

Explain how Dope is not "core". Founded by two Swedish snowboarders who ran an online store selling name brand gear who were sick of the tariffs on importing and starting their own brand. Kevin Backstrom was their first pro rider....explain how he's not core please. Now Svenn Thorgren and Jesper Tjader ride for them...

Like mega corp owned Volcom by French "fashion" and Vans in the same group as frat Timberland...not "rider owned" in years...Volcom shitty plastic bag 3 layer and Vans 12 pound cheapest Asian manufacturing. Cool story.

You know... I didn't think that much about it. I thought the Montec connection was most of the story.fstopblue wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 3:49 pmExplain how Dope is not "core". In my defense, I think core is dead anyhow. It was mostly me being.... me, I guess.

Dude, wear dope, be cold, be wet. The vast majority of us do not care, if that what you want to do, go forth and do it.fstopblue wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 3:49 pmExplain how Dope is not "core". Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
All good...being back in the States is hilarious to hear "core" shit all the time. Rode at a random area in Romania and partied with rich Romanians rocking $10K Bogner kits who love snowboarding and ride as hard as anybody here.C.Fuzzy wrote: Sun May 18, 2025 8:13 amYou know... Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
Prefer not too...funny to see Dope kids visiting out west who only know snowboarding from social media being more stoked than the self-righteous Trew, Flylow, and Jones assholes who can't stop talking about Japan on the chairlift.Msteff wrote: Sun May 18, 2025 11:55 amDude, wear dope, be cold, be wet.
