I have been using Black Diamond Arc gloves for some years now for spring riding and also for splitboarding. Two years ago I lost my first pair and bought new ones instantly, so I guess I like them.unsuspected wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 3:20 pm Looking for thin gloves/mitts for spring slush season. Any recommendations? Must be available in EU.

Re: OUTERWEAR
BD dirt bags are my go-to now
Re: OUTERWEAR
Mine are still untested, because those seems to be very warm and we did not have very cold weather this season.

But I have seen people in Alps with electric warming gloves switched on in very warm weather for myself.

The Tour gloves have been nice enough, lil step up from Dirtbag I guess, but on sale it was close.
Re: OUTERWEAR
As the season winds down, what's the collective wisdom on here on powderskirts in jackets? Personally I hate them and never use them but all jackets seem to have them. Does anyone like / value them for real?
Re: OUTERWEAR
I prefer no pow skirt. If I am going to ride deep pow, I will wear my bibs.
Re: OUTERWEAR
Always use my pow skirt. Also wear high-top pants or low bibs, what ever you call it.

Re: OUTERWEAR
I've been on the ziptech program for years. If/when I have non Volcom gear, I'll be sewing a zipper in to whatever I have. Not a fan of bibs

Re: OUTERWEAR
I really like the zip tech also. I just have to remember to unzip before I pull my jacket off. I always use my powder skirt; it also acts as a wind stop.
