Definitely wouldn't call the Aero stiff, but I think it's stiffer than rated. I'd call it closer to 7 than a 6 personally. Billy Goat was more like a 7.5 from what I recall and reckon BC is similar.

I am tempted to demo a BC in the 163W. Little wide for me (268 mm on 10-10.5 US) but no wider and shouldn't be substantially gnarlier than any of the Koruas I rode for 3-4 years.

Not being wide is one of the major design features of the BC. I would advise to keep it on the regular width versions if you have size 10. Don't you wear Adidas boots too? So like a 9 in most other brands?

Adidas 10, but 10.5 in most brands. Adidas 10 I can get away with a 255 mm waist, other brands 10.5 makes me nervous. Probably fine but I'd prefer 260-ish give or take for a daily (Aero lands at 259). If Banked Country was a few mm wider I'd own one right now.

255-260 is my preferred ww so I was a bit worried about it being too narrow with US 9.5. The only times I’ve actually put my toes in the snow was on groomed slush. That said, I’m generally not getting very low and angled on my turns. More upright, high-speed cruising suits me and the board fine.

knowing you and I have had similar board preferences over the last few years, definitely get on a BC at some point, very fun board that would be at home charging kirkwood and squallywood.
