Captians log...

They’ll put you in a better mood when you shred ‘em, so pull up a chair and talk about ‘em

Went to June Mountain today with my girlfriend. Wanted to check it out since we were going to be in the area. Cool mountain with a very laid back vibe. Spring is in full swing over here, and the runs were slush by 10:30 am, but it felt good to get on the board again.

Gf is on her fourth day riding ever, and today got on her first chairlift. Didn't fall, so the whole day was a resounding success 😁 Heading to Mammoth tomorrow...

Nice. June is pretty perfect for beginners. I was in Mammoth on Wednesday and Thursday, and it's prime Spring conditions right now. I camped out on 14 most of the time. If you're eating or drinking on the hill, the Outpost at the base of 14 is a really good vibe. I'm heading back up with the family on Tuesday for the rest of the week, and I'm sure will do at least 1 day at June. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Currently drinking a beer at The Outpost. Really cool spot 🤙🏼 Thanks for the rec!

We're taking a rest day tomorrow, but if you wanna hook up for some laps on Wednesday, send me a PM 🏂🏼

Day two of spring slush laps at Mammoth. Despite the late season conditions, coverage is still great in most of the mountain, and the soft snow is making for some fun off piste riding, as well.

Get it. This makes me want to ride so bad. I'm headed up to Tahoe next week for a few days... toddler and newborn makes sneaking away tough, but I'm going to try to sneak out one early morning for some mellow split laps and maybe catch some snowskate laps while my daughter is sledding. Hope coverage holds up, the melt is on.
