strata is stiffer and hiback is less laterally flexible too, ultras are awesome but pretty soft on the baseplate and highback is laterallys soft too so not good on that.

stratas are real good all mtn bindigs.

Ultra has no forward lean adjustment either. The high back is pretty soft so it might not make a difference

You can feel there's some forward lean on Ultra. I prefer no forward lean and a stiffer highback. Don't feel like the base on Ultras is that soft, but you can feel a little tilt. The big difference on Strata is canting.

yeah its not that soft but you can feel the forward lean that it pushes the baseplate a bit down on the rear.

thats why i like ultra base and strata highback.

Ultata! Dr Union Freakenstein.
Ultras have 6 degrees built in forward lean which doesn't fit my Adidas and prefer the look of Strata highback.

Cool,I have never ridden Unions ever, pretty much rode Cartels for years and on NOW Drives now. Sounds like the Ultra may be a little soft. The Strata could be the go as they are on good deals at the moment. I do really want to try the new Falcors but $770AUD is $$$$$$. The other option is the new Force.
