Mine are 4.375" (111mm) and my toes feel fine in my US 11 APXs, and I bet once they pack out they'll be even better. They're snug, but their new liners are crazy soft so they aren't painful at all for me. They're definitely not as wide in the toes as my Acerras, but I've resigned to the fact that nothing will ever fit me as good as adidas did.
Im set for life with 4 pairs still in boxes plus the one's Im currently riding.
I wish I had done that!
I went deep when they quit making the T-Rice DC boot.

Easily 120+ But everyone is different, my body and riding style doesn't kill boots. Also, I don't like stiff boots, these break in after 3 days of riding and then stay pretty much the same from there on out at like a 5-6 flex which is my perfect spot.

Tried on the Vans verse. Maybe I just thought they were supposed to be stiffer, but was surprised how medium they felt. Confirmed again Vans boots are just not made for my foot… and it seems like they want you to have a fairly skinny calf, because I could barely velcro the sides of the tongue to the liner. Zipper didn't feel like it worked very well, etc.... a weird experience, total miss.

Going back to my redwing ions with a fresh pair of molded liners has mostly been good, but still feeling like something is just off this season.

I'm considering picking up another pair of boots. Thraxis are overkill for many days.

Pros: heel hold is better than any boot I've had, warm, feel great on groomers, solid in pow, comfortable.
Cons: barely softened up in 20+ days, feel sluggish at slow speeds, clunky for little side hits.

I want something a touch more playful. Previously, I had Burton Imperials (Photons) for a while that were good, but not amazing. Maysis felt too soft. Nidecker too narrow.

Criteria: Boa, less stiff than Thraxis, Vibram/Michelin sole, durable.

K2 Orton? Bataleon Acid? Nitro Team? Something else?

Consistent with my experience, but with the opposite conclusion: I love almost everything about my Verses, except the bulkiness and the weight.
Very much agree on the skinny calf fit (which is great for me) and would add a low instep to that. And I do not find them overly stiff - upper medium stiffness after break-in (without the tongue stiffeners).

Biggest problems with vans boot is that you cannot really fit custom insoles in them as the original ones are really thick on the heel.
