For those of you that do some boot fitting to reduce heel lift, has anyone tried the Patriot liner sleeve? If so, thoughts?

not trying to be a hater but that looks like some rebadged temu/amazon shit. there’s no OSFA solution. boot fitter or experimenting with cheaper shapes from somewhere like Tognar is a better route IMO

I don't see how that can do anything. There doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it down.

Honestly I was wondering the same thing. Interesting concept, but would probably need some tweaking in design to actually be functional for varying foot shapes, sizes, etc. It came across my Facebook feed, likely because I was Google searching for boot fitting materials.

They could work or help, but these used to exist on the market back in the 90s and went away.

Not a substitute for going to a shop and getting some proper boot fitting done to eliminate your heel lift.

IMO, a proper harness is attached to the boot and pulls the liner down into the shell. Just cinching down the liner itself won't do much.

I totally get that, but you're speaking from a perpective of someone that likely lives in an area where this is a readily accessible option. For those of us that aren't quite as fortunate and would have to travel or plan ahead for a "boot fitting day" to be a part of their snowboard trip, sometimes you have to make due with DIY options or things of this nature.

If I want to purchase anything locally my options are limited to low end Burton boots, Step ons, or Thirtytwo. Forget finding aftermarket insoles, boot fitting foam, etc. I'm SOL unless I buy online or on the rare occassion I make it to somewhere that has a reputable shop.

those look to just be sleeves to hold J-bars in place on liners without pockets for them or to avoid gluing directly to the liner. might be ok if you're trying out options & don't want to commit to gluing to your liners.
