Have you tried those bushings before? I was terrified after using them on the first IPO. Speed wobbles in every landing. Probably fixed a bit on the whole system after that tho.
no, I didn't try them, but as you say, I expect that they have made some tweaking over the years. And of course, the bushings are Jones, I don't know if they are different from the now/yes soft bushings.

It's just for try something different, maybe on the sickstick. If they work, cool, if they don't, I wasted 13€, not a big deal

I haven’t looked at Union in a long time. I see they have an XL size in the force. The range is from size 13 to 15.
I stopped riding them because the L heel cup is too tight on size 13 boots compared to Burton or Nitro binders.
Anyone have experience with the XL union bindings? If so, is the heel cup wider than the size L. Is the baseplate longer than the L?
Any info appreciated.

Speed wobbles?

I've always preferred the softest (white) bushings on my now since the og ipos... but the bushings aren't really off the board enough to create wobbles. Probably get a feeler gauge of .035 under there.

At least imo. I've never experienced anything remotely like that.

Fair bit of overexaggeration I guess😁, but it did throw me off balance sometimes on hard snow. No wonder I'm not a fan of Stepons yet.

I have the soft bushings on my select pros. Rode them on the Banked Country for a few low tide pow days and they were fine. I went back to the Mercurys with med bushings on the BC since it’s my all rounder and put the select pros on my Spring Break powder pill.

I noticed a subtle difference in the bindings/bushings but nothing crazy.

It was just noticable on IPO1 in any case, but I couldn't bring myself to go for the soft bushings again.

I did, they were so similar to my Free Rangers I just use my Free Rangers on all my boards now

same straps, baseplate/sidewalls, highback. Only difference is how they connect with the board. The Continuums are supposed to give you more board feel because they use a regular disc, but I couldn't tell

How are the straps? I’m so used to Burton leather or Genesis straps it’s hard to make the switch but I’m trying to leave the Burton ecosystem!

I actually bought a set of genesis straps with the intention of swapping them in but haven't yet.

the Karakoram straps are fine. they're comfortable. Only drawback I can think of is they don't have that crease/fold like the burtons do that make it convenient when they're not buckled. They just flop around
