@pow_hnd So you're running Falcor base with Strata highbacks? Good looking!

I'm due to update straps on my Asymbol bindings. Strap tech has come a long way since then and they are otherwise perfectly functional and effectively an Atlas (one generation old), and Force Classic.

I was given a set of the Baldface Falcors and just wanted to duplicate the way that binding rides 100%, so yeah, for the two other sets I ended up buying, I changed out the highbacks to Strata.

@pow_hnd AHA! that checks out. They ought to sell baseplates in the parts section, one could just construct whatever they wanted to start with rather than replacing parts immediately.

Well after several resort days and now a full cat trip, I can say without a doubt that these bindings are absolutely incredible.

I shit on Union for years and had shit experiences with them in the past. It was complete luck that I had to try a set.

I'm sold, and I have absolutely zero foot pain and or cramping.

Would you mind to give us a comparison between your new Falcors and your old Drive?

Besides of foot pain and cramping.

I'm asking just out of curiosity, I'm not particularly interested in Falcors, the Union that I wouldn't mind to try is the new Force.

Hard to say exactly what it is but they are just awesome. I'd say though that the Force and Falcor will probably be wildly different bindings. What I am sure is universal is the improved quality of hardware, straps, ladder and sliders. Just a massive improvement since that last time I had a pair of Unions. I do feel like I'm more locked in with the board overall with the Falcors. The mini disc gives you more adjustabilty than anything else out there.

Think they opened up the baseplate a little and put those foam pillows in the right place, without clogging them with hard plastic frames. Ultra and Falcor is something else in the line, and Falcor straps are best.

Yes, also the last union bindings I was on, like 3 season ago, were very refined, all the old issues were definitely ironed out (toe ratchets, straps, heel loop/strap hw to retight).

Have you tried those bushings before? I was terrified after using them on the first IPO. Speed wobbles in every landing. Probably fixed a bit on the whole system after that tho.
