Thank you
I just tried on the Volcom 2836 jacket. Black, loose, 2 hand pockets, 20K/20K, 60g insulation, cheap, don't look like I might be summitting Everest or skiing back to my Tesla. Might get one for next season.
I have this and love it

How is the sizing with L1? I'm usually a large or XL depending on the brand and the fit.

Id say that one is true to size. Its crazy soft even though it looks canvas-ish. No pit zips though.

Some of the L1 stuff is fitting huge now, their gender neutral stuff especially.

This is pretty nerdy and purely fit related, but my Longo pants finally showed up yesterday. Seems like my trick of folding the elastic inside the pant is going to work.

The elastic only settles so far down the boot, and the pant material can have a tendency to ride up a bit, causing the somewhat goofy look that this style can have. By flipping the elastic in, the bottom of the pant material now sits at the lowest point and stays there. It also keeps the shape more normal, and doesn't really look like it has an elastic or cinched bottom.

If you just push the pant material down with the elastic worn the normal way, you are taking away some of the vertical length of the pant, which can then end up pulling them up.

Yes I have probably overthought this, but it works

The baggier fit through the legs is exactly what I was looking for, and it's pretty classic, not oversized like the extremities of the trend.

I am short and Burton boots are so much slimmer than my 32s that I had to resort to using a piece of shock cord and a cord lock to tuck my pants into and keep them out of the way. It sounds like they sit the same as those Longo's now.
