How much stiffer are they than the Ultras? I haven't ridden the Falcors since the first gens a long time ago.

I would like to know what bindings Mons Roisland uses 🙈 today at the Laax open. Binding broke at the takeoff.

something from Nidecker, my best guess would be the Kaon Plus, or something new/proto/re-logo'd Now/YES
midwest is best

Gnarly, here's a clip of it:

Looks like he's riding the Kaon Plus like @coleslawed said based on the highback shape. I've handled a pair of them and they felt super cheap.

Looked like he was on some yes/now bindings recently - first pic I’ve seen of him with the nidecker branded ones

Can depend on type of strap and instep height, so can't say for sure. The L I tried were old models Force and Contact and I probably downsizes some and changed boots, and new Ultras/Falcors are just different in comfort level too.
im not sure i understand correctly.
the strap position relative to heelcup/highback does not change when you adjust the heelcup in and out.
same bolt holding strap through same hole in heelcup in to same holes on highback.
me either

Okay after resort riding today and 3 side country laps, I can confirm, it wasn't confirmation bias due to being at Baldface, riding them in only pow, or the fact that Jeff hooked me up. The Falcor fucking rules. I rode them this morning on a different deck than I rode at Baldface and again, it was the same thing, it actually felt like it changed the way the board rode and for the better. I was able to remove a piece of boot fitting foam actually because the ankle straps fit my foot/ankle/boot so well. So yeah, rode them on full on groomers and full blown 20" north facing settled pow.

These are so, so, so far from the last set of Unions I rode.

I tried and tried to not only love this set but even like them. But they were TERRIBLE. Again this set was hooked up by Jeff, but I just hated them and they fell apart all the time.

These new "Baldface" Unions rule. So fucking locked in, so comfortable. I'm ordering two more sets today.

Are you going to throw Strata highbacks on them or just rock the stock Falcor highback? What size did you land on?
