After I broke my wrist (not snowboarding-related), I've been wearing the Level Biomex Mittens. Don't add too much bulk and have a great wrist-guard system that is not what you've usually seen in the past.

I'm all in on Hestra right now because that's what Ive been able to buy locally.
I have a couple pairs of Hestra job mittens. They're sturdy but one pair the left one is slimmer than the right. Doesn't bother me though cause i sized up to make room for bulky liners.

My favorite is the heli line. I have a pair of the trigger mittens. I chose them to be able to use the shifter and brakes more easily when riding my bike.

When it's not crazy cold i use the Wakayama gloves.

When you say cuffs are you looking at a gauntlet style that go over your jacket? I have a couple of bodies that swear by Outdoor research for those. One thing I don't get is why so many mittens (looking at you Kinco) have glove liners instead of open mittens.

Definitely gauntlet style, but ones that go under the jacket. Oh yeah, I don't get that either. The whole we put finger guardrails within your mitten is weird. I was looking at the B oven mittens that @michaelangelo suggested but read they have the same finger interior.

OMG you must run so hot. I can only use my classic mitts on warmer days like -1, 0 days.

I've been a Burton clutch guy for most of the winter, with some sort of mitt for really cold days. Recently I found Burton goretex mitts were cheap but warm.
This year I picked up some 686 gloves but haven't used them much. Their medium is a touch smaller than a Burton medium out of the box but I think they will break in nicely.

I wish I liked Kincos, but I really hate my gloves. I overheat, they inevitably get sopping wet from snow and sweat, and I hate those elastic cuffs. Maybe the mitts are better. The only time I ever use them is for heavy duty yard work or on tow ropes.
