Why? What about that board is appealing to you? The yuki is a stiff board with an open sidecut and an early rise nose. The antler is not. That is not to say that the yuki or signals are bad, quite the contrary, both the yuki and signals are great. The yuki is just not likely a board you will enjoy based on your prior self professed love of a softer twin flexing full cambered board with a relatively tight sidecut.

Brands, marketing tech, price, graphics, and model names are not why boards ride the way they do. The things that affect the way boards feel in no particular order of importance are flex (overall, length, torsional, and pattern), sidecut, effective edge, running length, waist width, sidecut entry and exit blends, taper, setback (on sidecut and overall) shape (twin, directional, etc) and to a much lesser extent nose and tail shape (comes into play in softer snow (slush, pow, etc…). Figure out why you like the antler, is it the flex, the way it turns, the camber profile, shape, etc… look up the antler’s specs and compare them to other boards. If you want a similar feeling board match the specs to the antler.

Are you looking for something different than the antler in some way? Are the boards specs you are looking at materially different than the antler? If so, in what way? Do you want a less turny board then look for a board with a longer more open sidecut, more stability look for a longer running length/effective edge, maybe a bit more width. There is a wealth of information out there about what makes snowboards feel a certain way. Figure out how you want the board to feel and base your choice on specs that will better achieve that feeling.

Side note, I assume that picture of the antler a few pages back is yours. If so, your front binding is slammed all the way forward toward the nose. Either your back binding is slammed all the way towards the tail; likely given the antler is a twin, or your stance is way forward both on board and sidecut. If the former, this stance is something like 25 or 26 inches wide, which is way way too wide unless you are like 6’6. My guess is you are not, given you ride a 154. If the later than your center of mass is nose heavy which will cause your tail to be washy and your nose to fold in turns and sink in soft snow. The reference stance is labeled on the board, it is a good starting point from which to experiment. I don’t know what the antler’s reference stance is but as an example, the board I rode yesterday has a 20.5 inch reference stance with a half inch setback on sidecut. I like my boards set back, both on board and on sidecut (improves turn quality, grip, and bite, and minimally impacts riding switch, note almost nobody other than pure rail riders ride true twin stances, a lot of slope style guys set their boards back slightly, pipe guys for sure do), but I like a 21.5 to 22 inch stance. Starting at the reference stance and moving each binding out a half inch achieved the 21.5 inch stance I like while maintaining the .5 inch set back on sidecut. Stance and where you “are” locationally on the board make a pretty dramatic difference in how the board will feel.

I am “from” the same general area, I.e. the northeast and would gladly trade off with someone for a run or two. Snowboarding is essentially playing and snowboards are essentially toys. It’s way more fun to have friends to play with.

I appreciate the lengthy response as it does have a lot of vital information, but yes I do ride my board at a true twin +15 -15 stance. It is just how feels right to me for the past few years, I have played with all types of angles and it’s just what came best to me, I never had any issues with the nose sinking or anything and I’ve taken it off piste into deep snow in the alps many times. Granted on my next board I will definitely utilize the reference as well and go from there, as for the sidecut that is something I didn’t notice. I’m trying to find a board that will behave similar to the antler and also be a twin flex but a tad bit stiffer is all I’m looking for, bit by much but maybe 25% at most.
So all in all, full camber, twin flex, tad bit stiffer than the antler, and basically an all mountain bad boy that will ride mostly groomers with freestyle action throughout the entire mountain, and a lot of tree and powder action on the days that allow for it which are sparse maybe 30% of the time on the mountain. The other 70% is ripping all across the mountain with a lot of air time and a lot of speed and nice carves
