8.5 boot, 155lbs, 5'9" -- Expert Rider in Utah (mainly Park City)

Do I want the 155, 159 or 160W Banked Country? I've wanted to try this thing for the last three seasons so I'm going to start looking out for one.

I also read that the 24/25 model (black w/white stars) is a little less aggressive but can still rip. Do I want this one or do I want any of them?

I have a 155cm for sale. I am same size as you with size 9 boot. Don’t think I’m going to use it. Interested? I can send pics

I'm just a little taller than you, same size boots and weight and use the 159. It's a charger for sure 🤘

Thanks for the info. That's kind of the size I'm leaning towards TBH.

The only Mervin board I've ever ridden was an Orca... and I wasn't a huge fan, but I'm also not a huge fan of volume shifts. It was great in the trees in powder, but bucky on chopped up resort pow and gutless carves. That may have been the mag as I don't usually ride boards with disrupted sidecuts.

I want to give one of their more popular boards a shot... so the BC is probably it unless someone tells me otherwise.

That's C2 for ya. You'll like their camber/C3 boards better

But… but... Travis said it was the best carving board he's ever ridden… and he used to ride hardboots…

Haven't ridden a Mervin in a while. A friend is selling his 160W BC locally for $300 after a few rides... tempting to try it and then resell. Or I can check it out, and if anyone is interested, I could ship…

Spenser give it a shot! That board may be amazing for your riding style. I'd love your opinion too.

I've thought about it before, and that's the size I would pick. I spent a ton of time on the mullair for a reason...

Think I'm going to pick it up if he still has it, though I don't plan to keep it since it directly overlaps with other boards I'm not getting rid of.
