It’s gonna take me a few days to figure out the MegaDeath. Took it out for a few runs today and it felt really loose in the tail. Realized that I haven’t ridden a board with something other than regular camber at the tail contact. Rode the front binding all the way back and measured my usual 21.5 to get my placement for the rear. Mounted with Atlas Pros at +23/-3. The base was fast as expected but the snow was so varied and the hill was so busy that I didn’t really get a chance to open it up and charge.
Looking forward to figuring it out. If I can’t, then it’ll end up on the sell/trade block.

First came Tribute review with couple turns on their video, then Bomb Hole visit to Mothership… Also looking at those aggressive contact points, which suppose to be good for freecarving, but uncommon, so it was not possible to resist anymore, I am only human after all. :)
Would you mind to take a camber pic?
Especially the tail area, when the camber transition in to rocker :geek:

I would like to know how much rocker there is in the tail, where the rocker starts.
The Mercury definitely has too much rocker in the tail, it starts too early after the back insert packs, for my likings.

thanks!
Saw that he already posted the pic, and from owning last year's Kazu, I can tell you that the rocker in the tail is small and basically just enough to lift the tail a couple cm. past the upkick.

If you're comparing it to the Mercury, you're going to feel the taper in the Kazu a lot more than the rocker, that's for sure.

thanks @jclinares!

If I remember, I'll take the tail pic of my cambered Kazu.
That definitely has camber till the tail (checked yesterday if maybe it had a touch of early rise... but, no way)

Yeah, the older Kazu was all camber. I really like the new version, though. I feel like it's more versatile as a daily driver, instead of a quiver deck.

But I generally don't mind hybrid profiles as long as they're camber dominant, so YMMV.

Kazu Tail and Nose (last year, cambered to the tail Kazu)

(Still, I'm interested in this year Kazu, maybe also to size up a bit)
