United Shapes
Re: United Shapes
Can anyone compare the cadet and the gril master?
Re: United Shapes
This was kind of a trippy way to start the day right after I woke up this morning
Thought the end was funny

Squash and moon tails gotta be tied for my favorite tail shape
Re: United Shapes
I like the current Horizon shape more, tbh. I've been over blunt/rounded blunt tips, personally.
And my all time fave shape is essentially the Pencil, but would replace with the Kazu nose shape.

Re: United Shapes
Showed up early. My slight hesitations were unfounded… nearly looks like full mild camber, just mellows out a little after the front foot (refer to Shredder's photos a couple pages back). When you weight the board, it doesn't quite seem to roll the front contact back like typical early rise, but looks like it will increase planing. Flex is stout, similar in the hand to a korua, perhaps slightly stiffer tail. So far, that's all
I try not to go too wide, so I went with the 59 instead of the 62. Specs are plenty.... 269, 8.3, 117... Surprisingly similar outline laid over the pencil (new one with 28mm taper), with some slight differences. But, size comparison is like a pencil 64 with the pointy tip slightly chopped. High hopes for this thing. What a beauty.

@spenser
My thoughts exactly spec wise comparison to a Korua.
It’s a nice board hey?

Great looking board. Too bad the specs are a touch too wide for my taste these days, esp for 8US. Wish there was a deck in their line that fit my preferred specs range, cos really enjoyed my Orbit few seasons back.
Essentially the general specs of a 57 Mercury, but on a directional. That's my personal sweet spot, and no stiffer than 7/10.

Re: United Shapes
It looks like a Skeleton Key got jealous of the Pencil and started eating carbs and sugar. And I’m here for it.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber
Re: United Shapes
I think you would like the Horizon. It reminds me of the Mercury but with less rocker in the tips and a more directional look and feel.G.D. wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 5:16 pm Great looking board.
