The "non-outerwear" Outerwear Thread

Needing some new options for spring riding apparel (hoodies, crewnecks, etc.). Analog Crux is still my benchmark and as far as I can tell the options for something similar to that are few and far between (if they even exist). Preferred features:

- Standard sweatshirt material w/ a DWR coating and maybe some spandex blended in for stretch (can't stand the fit, feel, or look of those bonded material hoodies).
- Riding length (slightly longer than average)
- Zippered pockets

Curious to know what you all prefer, something for those warner spring resort days.

I snagged the Parker hoodie from Picture a few season ago and really like it. 10k waterproofing, pit zips, sleeve pass pocket, zippered front pockets, built in neck gaiter thing, etc. Fits great in an XL (I wear a large in 686 and AK). 686 also makes a version of this that I like. Volcom does, too, but they run super small. Like the XL felt small on me even.

ive been hurting around for old school knitwear. like wool sweaters and pants, etc. hard to find. Only brand I know that does this is Alps & Meters. Burton back in the day (mid 90s) had a line called Britches, and it was pretty cool IMO. Now everything is either gorpro or streetwear inspired

my wife got a fleece from picture on sale 2 years ago, and it has held up great. pretty nice quality from what i can tell.

interested in this type of stuff myself. i have this bright blue patagonia sailing jacket (bomber style) that i rock during spring days, but would love a waterproof crew or hoodie.

i don't wear much more than a shell during the season as i run pretty hot, so i appreciate this type of fit. also nice for warm backcountry days in april/may

Exactly. Fit was slightly oversized, all of the features made sense. That era in general had plenty of quality options for "shred ready" casual wear and are still in heavy rotation for me (Analog Crux, DC Snowstar, several Volcom hoodies) and all had similar fit and features that I don't want to comprimise on. Maybe I'm being too picky, but it seems like I'm struggling more than I should to find what I'm looking for. Anyone know of any options out there similar in specs to the 1st gen AG Crux?

I have three Analog Crux hoodies, and they are the benchmark in early fall / late spring riding as far as I'm concerned. Nothing else comes close for a regular-ish hoodie.

Now that I've discovered the 686 Waterproof Hoodie and Waterproof Anorak, I ride hoodies 95% of the time out here in Utah.
