A Thread For Goggles
Re: A Thread For Goggles
I love the lens swap on my IO mag XL, I am looking at the Squads either with a dedicated every day lens or the photocromic lens and keep using the IO mags with clear and storm lenses.

I know a few others have said it, but MFI face masks make me stick to Anon. If anyone else had something like that I would try them, but once you've gone magnetic face masks... it's hard to go back.
I have an Anon M4 with about 7 different lenses that I got on super sale ($30 to $50 a lens).

No, but they look sick and are available on ExpertVoice. Kinda want to check them out now.
Re: A Thread For Goggles
I need a new pair of goggles and the Dragon D1 looks burly and cheap. I was thinking to get some with the red ion lens for days with sun, cop the clear lens for night riding and as a post-tomahawk back up for stormy days. I still need a middle lens for cloudy days. Anyone have experience with the either the amber or light rose lenses?

Light rose is really good for super cloudy days (I have a light rose lens with my PXVs and the violet one with my NFX Mags). But for me it lets too much light in for regular cloudy/variable condition days. I like the flash blue for days where things can change quickly or if it's cloudy but still relatively bright out.Kevington wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 8:02 am I need a new pair of goggles and the Dragon D1 looks burly and cheap. The D1 and PXV are my go-to goggles. The Amber lens might not be the coolest looking, but it’s rad for everything.
If anyone’s interested, I’ve got a barely-used set of RVX Mags with four lenses for $200cad. Wish that frame fit me better.

Re: A Thread For Goggles
I returned my new set of Smith IO mag xl and bought a set of Squad Mag. They are definitely lower profile than the IO mag xl but do not really feel smaller in height or width.
