Baldface Lodge

They’ll put you in a better mood when you shred ‘em, so pull up a chair and talk about ‘em

Great review!

I like the way you roll; playing the long game. I imagine it's still a few years out for a Valhalla lodge?

Our crew is locked into the December dates, and I'm seriously scratching my head on how we'll inch our way into the Jan/Feb prime time dates. Am guessing those sessions are locked in forever at this point. Maybe we gotta start investing in Valhalla alongside you haha.

Jeff said it's on the near horizon.

If you have a large crew, those odds are very, very, very long... Just a few people, it happens on occasion, but basically anymore than four people and it's just not gonna happen most likely.

Even when Jan/Feb dates do open up, let's just say they go in a kinda "seniority" status as who wants to change their dates... So if someone who's been going for 15+ years wants to move their group they will be the first asked or on the "waitlist", then down the list and such.. If that makes any sense.

Yeahhhh that's what I figured. Our crew is more than half the cat, so I think we'll likely be sticking with that date for awhile...

Can't complain; baldface is baldface. Feel so stoked to be there every year.

They also add cats, to have more volume, I assume the Valhalla lodge will be bigger.

That is not in the plans and actually Valhalla has less terrain than the lodge, so adding more cats would diminish the quality of experience.

The Valhalla tenure also gets slightly less snow as well.

Really? I had it in my mind that Valhalla was even snowier, bigger, and steeper. But maybe not...
