Yeah I wish I had one of those first gens before they did the 3D nose.

It has a spooned nose, just very subtle. The new one looks like Bataleon 3BT where its just folded up drastically.

It’s almost hard to notice on the first gen. Doesn’t go very far down the nose kick. It’s almost like a very mellow version of the old spoon tech that Burton did on boards like the Road Soda and Monkey Wrench

i'd like to give the Alternator another spin, didn't love it at demo days, was expecting more Banker personality vs MTN personality, but I've loved the MTN on previous demos.

i have only been on mtn 160 from second year.
hoping this is a bit more "dynamic" with different core profiling but still similar calm damp ridefeel.
bought salomon highpath from my brother end of last winter but it was not what i was expecting from specs and description.
i bet this will be a better fit with more camber feel and a burlier flex.

i would definitely put it in the damp camp. had similar feeling on the Highpath, much softer than I anticipated.
