I’ve got a TNF gear crate that I like a lot for bike/snow gear. It has a simple metal frame inside that is collapsible, pockets on every side of the interior and a zippered big pocket under the lid.

I have the mine77 duffel too which is great for weekend trips/airline overhead bin travel. Separate boot compartment, pretty bombproof interior and exterior.

Still rocking a camo Burton boot bag from 2008. Throw it in the truck and I have everything I could need + extras, tools, etc. These are a must have IMO

Interesting. I really don't see myself using one of those Granted, I put stuff like my pocket driver and a discarded or extra layer in the backpack I ride with, but other than that, I might leave stuff for the drive back in the car, and that's it.

The situation I'd find a boot bag most useful would be when I've had to take public transportation to get to the mountain, but in those cases I wear my boots in the bus, or bring one of those super foldable duffels and use it to keep my regular shoes and my lunch, and stash it somewhere at the beginning of the day.

I mean no one’s lugging that shit around the hill. Stays in the truck. Not many resorts with good public transit in the states unfortunately.

my gear bag doesn't even make it into the lodge, usually just boot up at the car.

just a way to keep things organized in there and make it easy to get the car loaded/unloaded.

I guess I forget about people's different situations at their mountain, hah. Oops.

General MO here is to do everything at your car and walk to the lift, hence a gear bag/whatever left in the vehicle. If you need anything accessible while taking laps, you leave your bag next to the lift. I certainly wouldn't do that in many places, but it's safe here.

These are the new step on EST. I don’t want to avoid sitting down to fasten the bindings, but to see if they bring different things and feelings to my riding. I controlled my curiosity for years but now I couldn’t help it… In DH I have always used platforms and this is perhaps closer to automatic pedals where you are “more hooked” that is why I always saw step on with suspicion. But I had to try…

The EST have this new blue piece that is designed to generate a lateral movement in the binding. Maybe like the skate tech but lateral (or the hinge) I don’t know… although someone will know… on the other hand, the base and the gas pedal are more rigid than the step on re-flex.

It is true that as @Spenser said, it is more exciting to buy boards than bindings or boots, but in this case, as I noticed changes with the skate Tech and it was great, squeezing more qualities from my boards, I am curious to know how this can affect my riding, but also the riding of my boards, the reality is that if it makes a board work differently, then a Step on binding doubles my quiver and for the price of a Step on I would have twice as many boards (it,s a joke.. or not…)

In the step on thread or in the review thread I will give my feedback and we will see if they bring something different… at least within three months

Interesting! Definitely looks like the biggest design change for Burton bindings in decades. I'd love to see them expand some of these design elements into their other bindings.

Interesting! Definitely looks like the biggest design change for Burton bindings in decades. I'd love to see them expand some of these design elements into their other bindings.

I only have three months left to test them and test what works well out of all this

I think they save the best to go in EST format and combine exclusively with their boards

… Maybe you should start thinking about returning the sickstick and start looking at a Burton board it’s a joke!! Sickstick seems a good option…

There are more differences with the other EST and step on and the new design is closer to skate tech. I'm still on the step on thread
