Agreed on the waist width of the Banked Country, I wouldn't mind if it was a smidge wider (mine's a 159). And Lol, I have a 159 Horizon too, it's still in the wrapper because I got it long after the season ended, so bring on the snow!

Never had an issue without full wrap edges, nor TNT, up here in the northwest of the northwest. I feel like most TNT issues I recall were with people in dry climates, but I could be making that up

I definitely caved to the EZ hype on that one haha. Really stoked to check it out!

As long as TNT’s decently durable, I can sacrifice some glide. Capita’s powder drive extruded bases get core shots just by looking at them wrong.

How about the Lib Rig? Its basically a Dynamo with a sintered base and less mag. Maybe a tiny bit more early rise in the tips.

Most issues with glide is in drycold or wet conditions, so that's probably right. My experience with TNT on wet conditions is superslow, but it's possible to use wax for those conditions, and structure. That type of wax doesn't last much longer on sintered either. Those board also had lots of mag, so I guess that doesn't help.

strongly considering replacing my broken aeronaut with a banked country for this season.... love the specs and shape, and cannon is doing a good job advertising it much like arthur was with his board.

love the aero to death but afraid ill snap another one with how incredibly lightweight and high performance it is.

mervin's have been beefy and damp in my experience over the years, with the mullair being one of my favorite boards i've had time on (never owned). strongly considering...

I’m generally steering clear of most C2 boards, but I haven’t ridden a dud Mervin, yet. That being said, even my old Lando 160 holds a hardpack carve better than a good number of other boards I own.
How is the Jamie Lynn in comparison to the Banked Country? If it's not too much stiffer then I might want need one.

Other details aside, one obvious thing to anyone who's even mildly perceptive is the longer radius. The JL has always been in the upper 8m range, and definitely does like a more drawn out turn, and/or higher speed turns. All great freeride/freestyle boards, but a notch up in "down the fall line" temperament. I like both the JL 8.7 and their kinda typical 8.3m radius, could go either way

i've been enjoying longer radius boards for the last few seasons now, and wish i had converted over to this long ago...

upper 8m is beast, i think low 8's has become my favorite "temperament" in a snowboard in what it does on the snow while on edge, feels more relaxed if you will?

the tendencies of a more drawn out radius feels so much better to me, vs the twitchy low 7's i rode forever (via burtons mostly). makes sense to have a smaller radius board when riding in vermont, however.

looks like evo is selling last year's banked country in 55/62 at $440. but now you have piqued my interest on the JL!
