Get custom thermo plastic.Work just like cork but last forever. I'm still rocking this pair from W18/19. They're still working just as well as the day I got them.

The Sport Loft in SLC.... It was about $450. That includes lifetime boot fitting. So move the insoles to new boots, they will boot fit those for free. Boots pack out and need adjustments, free.

Yes, spendy, but worth every fucking penny to me. There are absolutely no boots that come even remotely close to fitting my feet out of the box, unfortunately.

I’m an east coast guy. I got my cork ones many years ago at a shop in CT that I worked for at the time, Rotary Ski. Even with my discount they were a couple hundred bucks. Sort of a fun process to have an after hours beer with the ski boot tech while he did his thing though.

My favorite part is how he measures every angle of the boot except for the actual useful one: its length so that we could get an idea of the footprint.

This boot looks way more solid than the Nidecker Rift I had that fell apart after 20 days but I can see the Bataleon boots dont have the asymmetrical tongue and closure. This was the standout feature of the Nidecker boots, for me at least. Something to consider perhaps.

Atleast it has the burrito wrap liner, though!

The burrito liner, Vibram outsole and cuff articulation are why I want to try the boot.

True. I loved that on my Ride fuse. The Rift didn’t have it but it was still a decent liner.
