The CK screaming tree had a 258ww on the 158 at least. Board ripped but didn’t really fill a spot for me.

Same reason I didn’t jump on the Ketchup & Mustard 161 reissue. Kinda regretting it now, though. 🤔

Each is own...

I'm good with a couple of Narrow(er) boards in the quiver...I grew up on'em. Still like my Hakkon Air for ripping high speed hardpack groomers. I squeeze into a Size 9/12 boot, so I can get away with a lot more then some of you.

Burton was going to reissue the Hakkon air with matching Cartels but instead dropped Terje and Covid came along.

When the original Michi was released it was meant to be a blend of the custom (very different board back then) and the balance such that it gave what was pretty much a pure freestyle (pipe) board in the balance a bit more all mtn capability while maintaining an overall freestyle feel. My thinking is that the hth currently kinda fills the all mtn board with freestyle roots roll in the Burton line. Coincidentally the hth also has about the same amount of taper as the original Michi did. We’ll have to wait and see. It’s pretty much a must buy for me regardless. I’ve always regretted letting that one go.
