They seem so damn similar so trying to understand if there’s any difference other than branding on the pant.

I have both and Tusk Hi-Top is the better of the two, for bottoms, but in jackets it’s reversed, Japan Guide jacket is superior.

I run Tusk Hi-Top Pant and Guide Jacket.

Slush Puppy/Kilroy 3D/3D Fish frankenboard

155 Slush Puppy was a pretty fun deck, don’t ride it much anymore though. 260 waist, camber to flat before the tips.

Initially barkeeper seemed to me like a fish with an evolved 3D... because of the tail...

Pure pop seems too playful. i was thinking about name dropper

If it’s built off of the SP/Kilroy 3D chassis, the flex varies a lot between sizes. The 150 was a total noodle, and the 155 was close to a Custom. Name Dropper is definitely softer than the SP. I don’t find pure pop too playful, it’s mainly camber and then flat through the contact points. Pretty planted overall.

curious, perhaps what you say coincides with my perception... An ex professional friend of mine always changes boards but is now on his third name dropper. He encourages me to ND because he tells me that ND is very playful.

But I tried it when it appeared on the market and I don't remember it being playful. In fact I remember it being hard between my feet… and no more… 🤷🏻‍♂️

interesting. I wonder if they didn't have many hits with their training on ENDVR this season. not sure why they moved away from SPARC, that's what the majority of other brands use and it seems pretty smooth.
