Re: The boot thread

i tried to put a pair of Medic’s in my Deeluxe areth Rin boots, but the they were way too thick compared to the stock Deeluxe insoles. maybe i just ended up with the thickest version(they were rep freebies), but they seemed about as thick as Vans Popcush.

are you sizing down in standard Vans ...

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

Mervin warranty dept. are refusing to acknowledge the BC had changed, or that there is anything unusual about the one I have. "it's the same construction year over year and the board is supposed to have a stiff flex". I wasn't even fishing for a replacement, just wanting to find out which ...

Re: The boot thread

Just got my areth rin, size 26.
they feel great carpet boarding.
the k2 overdraft feels like a "snowboard boot replica" compared to these.
the areths has great details and looks like they are made to last.
the liner has a more dense foam and the heel hold boa doesnt feel like a afterthought ...

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

demo boards usually come out of pre-production runs, so not really surprising that those would be old shape/construction with new graphics, as those aren't designated to be "sold", and hence how they made it into the wild. likely would not be able to get that replaced, even if it was never ...

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

The Rig definitely rides shorter and softer than the BC. I bought an ex demo Rig 159 and ended up selling it again after riding it. It has much the same EE as the BC 159 but feels looser due to rocker in the tips. The 159 BC feels a bit much for me in some situations when I don’t just want ...

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

Who can directly compare the Rig with the BC? @Kevington? I enjoyed the 155 BC but think the jump to the 159 might be a bit much, wish they had like a 157. Does the Rig 159 fit in there with it's shorter contact length? Or is it really shorter. I feel like I just want a bit more width and edge ...

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

Since sale time is coming up I really need to start looking for a daily driver to replace my Burton Flight Attendant and Deep Thinker and I am considering a Lib Rig. I live in the PNW and I've never owned anything Mervin, I feel like we have been getting a lot more firm snow over the past couple ...

Re: BINDINGS

I really liked my Flux SR bindings except for the adjusting of the forward lean and the minimal foot bed, looks like they fixed one of my complaints with the new footbeds.
