Re: The boot thread

Tried on the Vans verse. Maybe I just thought they were supposed to be stiffer, but was surprised how medium they felt. Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

Even though you're not the original owner, I would still contact them about it to see what they say. That is 100% a manufacturing defect, and they are well aware of it, as it happens regularly & has been for a long time.

Edit: I overlooked the model year... still think it's worth asking about.

Spencer if that's you putting in an appearance at 1:38, you have a distinctly Temple Cummins style of movement in the pow (and I mean that as a high compliment). My first thought seeing your laps in the pow was literally: "Wow ...

Anyone have strong feelings on a small (~12-14L) sidecountry pack that holds avy gear and water + vertical board carry? My DK heli 20 is functionally fine & great size for a tour, but I don't need the extra room when we hike from the chair. Just thinking slim.

Re: BINDINGS

I will now be riding Union Charger Split Bindings.

I was so used to Sparks because they are the simplest and were for the longest time the best performing, and at a time they really were the only split bindings worth a damn.

The Unions are so much more fucking comfortable. I went on a tour ...
