"Vintage" Catalogs

I cracked open the archives today and thought maybe some of you dudes might be interested in reliving the magic of some vintage (that word feels gross) gear. I've never posted images on here before, so apologies in advance if I did it wrong. Kicking it off with the Capita swatch book catalog. 05/06,...

[quote=weekday_pacifist post_id=14013 time=1732266868 user_id=621] Aw, man. I miss the golden age of Holden. That’s a great jacket @Spenser . Loved the McMillans/coaches jackets. My all-time favorite is the Wittlake Marcus jacket (with the tonal matte and shin...

Aw, man. I miss the golden age of Holden. That’s a great jacket Spenser . Loved the McMillans/coaches jackets. My all-time favorite is the Wittlake Marcus jacket (with the tonal matte and shiny stripes). I used to collect the catalogs, I’m still on the lookout if anybody has the early-early ones. :g...

Re: OUTERWEAR

25 Burton AK https://one8.co.kr/product/list_Pre-Order.html?cate_no=5079 THANK YOU!!! Slightly heartbroken that the Navy-ish Cyclic jacket is actually just a badly lit photo of Deep Emerald (that picture of it with the "matching" pant is crazy), but at least Burton's current sale is still...

Re: OUTERWEAR

Anyone else a little bummed that the trend towards jacket cuts are leaning towards shorter and boxy fits? No hate if that's your style, but it's a little disappointing when it seems like that's all that is being offered, especially for the upcoming season. Speaking from the perspective of a taller ...

Re: Hardgoods 24/25

I've always really wanted MFI, but Anons never fit my face well enough and sit too far out. It feels like it's been so long since Burton launched MFI, I thought maybe the patent would run out soon and we'd finally start to see other brands offering this feature. Welp, it looks it's only been 9-ish y...

Re: Hardgoods 24/25

👍👍 exactly what I imagined from the PW. Your explanation has been perfect. I really wanted a year with the fish Experience a year. It has been great. Now back to something harder I am definitely curious about this seasons Burton Short Stop, same realm as the Powwrench, but lighter and more snappy. ...

Re: Hardgoods 24/25

Oh, yes. Panhandler is torsionally much softer than the Mercury. The Panhandler's flat-top construction is super fun for powder, but the lack of camber and the shortness of the tail means you gotta work a little more for your ollies. haha As you already said, it's also my understanding that the Pow ...

Re: Hardgoods 24/25

I love my Panhandler, but it barely sees the light of day. I've embraced my dad-ness: the Mercury is my daily driver. Could you tell us a little about mercury… What would you like to know? I'm sure my perception of the board is not nearly as nuanced and detailed as others have shared on here before...
