Re: HARDGOODS 25/26

Hey I still ride my Supernatant. I always liked their stuff, wonder where the boards are being made? Feel like they can't still be at Mothership. Binding is either a strong sign of the future, or it's a parts garbage chimera and will be terrible. I myself am hoping for the former.

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26

I just looked at that DC catalog, are they not getting out of snow now? They have a binding? Is this an asian market specific thing?

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26

it's pretty basic. A twin is identical. If the deck is not identical with a fully centered stance, then it's directional. For a long time though, any deck with the word Twin in its description sold better to the masses.

Companies can learn to do better messaging on decks with minimal taper ...

I'm hyped. To me a very random team up, but I've been a Cinelli fan since my hipster fixed gear days in LA

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26

This 100%.

I have 3 solid decks. A what some people call "Directional Twin" ( no such thing exists, its a marketing term )

Pushing back on this. Directional twin, two variants. Twin shape, directional flex. Directional shape, nose and tail same stiffness i.e. twin flex. Full directional ...

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26

Don't have a strong opinion on FASE/Step-ON/Supramatic, but I personally also do not care about the channel at all. I did have an old Capita Totally Awesome that had it, it was fine, but I never changed the stance after the initial set up. The whole notion of adjusting the stance for powder ...
