Re: Baldface Valhalla EzLounigng trip Jan 2026

I’m kicking tires but this sounds super fun…if spots fill they fill, but I’d be down to be a reserve/get on the list. I can start chatting with the wife to see if I can make this. We just had our second kid a few days ago so life’s a little more complex now.

Re: Captians log...

Wife just gave birth on Thursday but since Grandma is in town I was able to get out the past 2 days. April pow days are special - no lift lines and hike to terrain goes almost untouched all day.

Re: OUTERWEAR

To each their own but I dig 1910. I’ve always been a fan of Jamie’s art so having it be more accessible than buying a snowboard or an original painting is nice. Plus, supporting their brand is supporting them. Better than buying some graphic tee or hoody from Quik, Volcom etc

Re: Snowboard Luggage/Bags

I’ve got the the oneball baker pack and really like it for cat days / side country. Quality is mostly good, some loose threads but overall is well made. I like how light the pack is so you barely feel it, but has enough space for water, snacks, extra layer, etc.

Re: Creature Comforts

Picked up a new merino ninja suit once they went on sale. I bought my first one 12 yrs ago so I was due for an upgrade - it was getting pretty faded with holes all over. I like how the zipper goes further down for easier access. The new one’s a bit lighter and softer too - I guess that’s the ...

Re: Captians log...

Colorado finally had a great storm cycle. Was able to get out 3 of the last 4 days and had over 3 feet of snow. Feels good to be in the flow.

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

Also a BC owner and have had no issues with the base. I generally wax every 5 or so days and am usually faster than the skiers I ride with on the flats. I’m on a 159 and 5’8 190lbs if that helps.

I haven’t ridden the Rig but I’m tempted to demo one. The BC has been great for steep, open terrain ...

Re: United Shapes

Speaking of Tucker, Gray and US, I recently found Aurora Boardealis back on the interwebs. This is one of my favorite movies over the last few years. Such a bummer the Warp Wave Vimeo disappeared. Seems like Messi and Gray had a falling out?

Anyways for those who haven’t seen it, highly recommend ...

Re: Creature Comforts

Anyone have a softshell mid layer jacket they really like?

Looking for something warm but breathable to wear under a shell. I was looking at Airblasters Beast Crux insulator.

Re: BINDINGS

I have the soft bushings on my select pros. Rode them on the Banked Country for a few low tide pow days and they were fine. I went back to the Mercurys with med bushings on the BC since it’s my all rounder and put the select pros on my Spring Break powder pill.

I noticed a subtle difference in the ...
