Re: OUTERWEAR
In my old age, I actually get cold and I can't believe it but I am actually thinking about adding an insulated jacket to the quiver. Any feedback on the AB Beast 2l jacket? For reference I usually wear a Volcom L jacket in medium and like it or my Quiksilver Black Alder in a medium which is a littl...

Re: The 2022 boot thread
The issue for me was the toe box height of all things. Maybe other issues would have revealed themselves given more time but if the last came to even half a cm higher at the end I think they might have worked. Did you try toe capping them? During heat molding? I stupidly didn't because I wanted as ...

Re: The 2022 boot thread
I tried to get a "performance" fit for the first time this season, picking up a pair of TM-2s half a size down from my mondo point size. They were tight of course before and after heat molding but seemed like they might work after a break-in. After 2 runs in them, I thought the nails on my...

Re: Snowboard Luggage/Bags
Does anyone have strong opinions on boot bags? I want to get one bag I can centralize all of my gear in (at least boots, helmet, goggles, mitts, and pants; maybe a couple of tools and a mid layer) to make packing the car quick and tidy. Looking at the Burton duffle options, is there any real reason ...
Re: OUTERWEAR
The perfect jacket doesn't exi— AB, 3L gore, the fit, color, hood, pockets & snaps - it's like they designed me a pro model.... why didn't I know sooner Dang this looks like an upgraded version of my Grumpy which is pretty much what I'm looking for. I gave the Volcom L a go yesterday but in my ...

Re: Snowboard Luggage/Bags
How reinforced/padded are those DB bags? Being able to roll them up for storage is super convenient but does that come at the cost of protection? I have a Buron Wheelie locker from 2009(?) that's on it's last legs, and while it's not very ergonomic the board compartment is pretty sturdy, with rigid ...

Re: The 2022 boot thread
Has anybody tried newer Ride boots? I bought the 22/23 Tridents at the end of last season. Excellent initial quality/feel and the ankle harness system is the best I've used. Toe box too small for me out of the box, but I had them baked with toe caps and a pad on the outside of my foot and now they ...
