Re: The boot thread
But.... why is anyone using stock insoles
True.
The Vans ones look kind of half decent to be fair but I’ll still swap them out for my usual Sidas.
They are undoubtedly thick AF, same as Vans skate shoes. The heel pocket in the shell is deepest lower down and my heel bone protrudes ...
Re: BINDINGS
Meant to post these pics earlier when the jones comfort foam foot pillows arrived. Broke out the calipers and compared. +/- 1-to-2mm difference in thickness in various areas (toe, heel, lateral sides). The plastic fastener that keeps these from sliding broke on both stock foam binding beds so I'm ...
Re: OUTERWEAR
I've looked at the military Melancon a bunch of times. Not sure on sizing - I wear men's L and the chart suggests an XL is smaller, but I don't know if it's the generic women's chart
My buddy has the Melancon in XL and they are pretty huge. Noticeably bigger in the waist than my large Longo ...

Re: Colorado (Bro)
....on the other hand, I think it would be a good experience for them to get the perspective on what a real mtn is and has to offer. (I kinda die inside a little when they refer to any of our local hills runs as steep or hard). And like a paradigm shift, they'd see their home hill as so much less ...

Re: Colorado (Bro)
Avoid Keystone.
For kids or just all around?
All around. The prior suggestions are on point.
P.S. C.Fuzzy Our experience for what we paid was frustrating. 6k total for the place. We packed light in hopes of doing laundry & found out that unless you were an owner the onsite washer & dryer ...

Re: BINDINGS
Are all NOW binding screws and washers one piece? Thought it was a nice touch when I ordered the 2.0 tool-less kit.
They are now. The 2.0 kit is the bomb, huge improvement over the 1.0.
do you use the standard Nylon Post (with 50% glass fiber) supplied with the Kingpin Tool-Less 2.0 kit ...
