Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Same thing happened for me on my mullair. I emailed them and they let me chose a new board. Contacted Merwin directly as Swedish distribution wouldn't help me.

Re: United Shapes
The taka split was underwhelming to me. Great shape but the construction took away most of that magic hps feeling. I'm sure my expectations was to high since I own two amazing hps solid boards

I wanted those but they were sold out so I got the heli version. I like the look better than white leatherunsuspected wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 12:10 pm These might be my next mitts.

Re: The Mittens Thread
I'm all in on Hestra right now because that's what Ive been able to buy locally.
I have a couple pairs of Hestra job mittens. They're sturdy but one pair the left one is slimmer than the right. Doesn't bother me though cause i sized up to make room for bulky liners.

I think the Niseko pleasure has more torsional give than simple pleasures. That change can do wonders for the wide feeling if talking about initiating turns. Never been on them tho so just speculation

I'm in the plain/subdued camp as well. I don't care if they look almost the same every year, or whatever. As far as I'm concerned, every single one of my boards for the rest of my life could have a blank topsheet & black base.
Do you guys WANT graphics? Totally get it if so, I'm just asking. I ...

Yeah I have it in 156. It has a middle of the road flex . Rides short . Feels damped but still gives u feedback what's underneath. Floats great for its size .Wish I had gotten the 159.
Really like it though
