Anyone know anything yet about some backcountry/splitboarding specific prototype boots Deeluxe seem to have out for testing with their riders/testers? Saw one guy in Europe post a pic which quickly disappeared, and had a sponsored rider here obliquely confirm something's being tested… Didn't look ...

all 3 of those have a lot of camber, it seems like for Japow terrain people prefer flat or very little camber
"People" all have very different goals and values, me included.
And all those boards also have early rise "big floaty noses" so 🤷🏼
Not into flat/rocker myself just because of how I like ...

I spend most of the season (northern Japanese backcountry) on a 169 split (Stranda Shorty).
I have a US Covert 161 and spent 2 seasons on a Korua Pencil 164 (great board!), and as cool and fun as that was, neither kept me on top of the snow the way I like to be.

Built at nidecker (?) factory in Tunisia, same as old Jones I guess. Similar business model as Korua with rollover design, but with high prices instead of low. Seems like reasonable shapes. They have been working with some good riders, so should be ok. Seen enough, haven't tried, never really been ...
